TESA fully supports The Purple Guide to Health, Safety and Welfare at Music and Other Events (www.thepurpleguide.co.uk) as the best and most comprehensive guidance for outdoor events.
The Guide is published by the Events Industry Forum in consultation with the UK events industry, including representatives from regional and national Government. It is also supported by the HSE, which originally published it.
TESA has been involved since the outset with the publication of the Guide as a standard for outdoor events to follow and, as Secretary to the Forum, Director Jim Winship is responsible for its continued publication.
All members of TESA agree to support the Purple Guide as the standard for all outdoor events across the UK.
