TESA Supplier Member Benefits
- Endorsement of Member Businesses – All members are entitled to use the TESA logo as an endorsement for their business and its involvement with the Association. (There are guidelines for use of the TESA logo – see www.tesa.org.uk).
- Supplier Membership Certificate – All members receive a membership certificate to display in their offices.
- TESA Website – All members have a full listing on the TESA website (with logo, picture and a link to their own website) and are cross-referenced to a product/service index to help promote their business.
- TESA Tendering Service – All members who have signed the TESA Guarantee will be included in the list of preferred suppliers in the TESA Tendering Service.
- Event Organiser Magazine – All members have a full listing in Event Organiser magazine including logo and name and address entry and up to three additional product listings. Members also receive reduced rate advertising in the magazine.
- TESA Information Centre – This valuable, web-based, resource provides an easy reference source of information on health and safety as well as issues such as licensing, together with downloadable forms which can be adapted and used by suppliers and organisers.
- Subscription to Event Organiser Magazine – All members receive four annual issues of Event Organiser magazine as part of their membership. The industry’s leading editorially driven magazine, Event Organiser also contains a full index to members and the products and services they offer.
- Annual TESA Awards – TESA is the initiator of the Event Industry Awards designed to recognise specific achievements during the year, bringing significant PR opportunities for the winners. The awards are presented annually, each January, and are judged by the Association’s Management Committee.
- TESA Credit Card – TESA has negotiated a special arrangement rate for handling credit card payments through Streamline with a fixed transaction charge of 1.87%, regardless of business turnover. Terminals for telephone transactions are also fixed at a lower rate than most other card systems. This can result in substantial savings for some businesses which take credit card payments
- Reduced Advertising Costs in Yellow Pages – If you use Yellow Pages to promote your business now, as a TESA Member, you can take advantage of a TESA corporate display advertisement at lineage rate costs! The advantage of this TESA advertising is that it provides an endorsement which can be particularly valuable as assurance for those seeking suppliers using Yellow Pages.
- TESA Legal Helpline – If you’re ever unfortunate enough to need legal help, TESA Members have immediate access to experienced lawyers through a free legal helpline provided by the Association.
- Free Tickets to Trade Shows – TESA will send you, on an occasional basis, free tickets to relevant trade shows such as The Showman’s Show in October.
- Reduced Rates on Portable Appliance Testing - To comply with the Electricity at Work Regulations all portable electrical appliances should be routinely inspected and tested by a competent person. The regulations apply equally to small companies and the self employed as to larger organisations. TESA has negotiated a special discounted rate with a nationally recognised company who can provide this service.
- Reduced Rates on All Media Advertising – Whether you are advertising for staff in your local newspaper or promoting your company’s services on TV, using this service should save you a considerable amount of money.
