  • A number of ‘big’names from the event production world have joined forces to launch TLF, a new International Production House with offices in London, Singapore and Sydney. They include Harvey Goldsmith CBE and Jim Baggott of Artist Promotion Management Ltd, in partnership with sevens7 co-owners Dan Howson, Luke Carr, Tim Spears and Nick Taylor.
  • Showsec have boosted the development of their East Midlands operation by securing two major contracts with local authorities in the region.
  • The Nationwide Caterers Association (NCASS) is warning mobile caterers to be extra vigilant when booking events, as reports of fictitious events are on the rise. Alan Fox, director of NCASS, said: “We have been contacted by a number of our members, who have been approached directly by ‘event organisers’ with some very dubious-looking events.”
