  • Eve, the leading supplier of temporary access systems and related services, has been granted the official designation from the British Olympics Association as its ‘supplier of crowd control barriers (Olympic venues) to the London 2012 Games’.

  • After years of negotiation and development, a new Purple Guide has been published by the Events Industry Forum, an informal body representing some 26 trade bodies across the events industry.

  • The inability to control noise is often attributed to weather or atmospheric conditions, and low frequencies in particular can travel unchecked beyond the production venue to neighbouring businesses, residential locations and other venues. Flare Audio believes the solution to successful sound propagation and the way to produce pure controllable sound is to focus on a product’s Waveform integrity (Wi).

  • Temporary structures specialist Neptunus has been officially recognised as a supplier of Olympic venues to the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Neptunus was responsible for installing several high quality temporary structures in and around the capital prior to the commencement of the Games last summer.

Event Organiser Magazine is the official journal of TESA (The Event Services Association), the UK body representing event organisers and suppliers to the industry. The magazine is published five times a year and distributed to key names in the trade.
