Adam Pike has been appointed Head of Events for the Conference and Live Events division of premier UK audio visual company Saville.
After joining Saville Audio Visual in 2004 as a Senior Technician Adam quickly acquired a taste for developing relationships with top clients and after securing an approved supplier contract with the Gherkin in London he took on the role of Account Director for Tesco delivering 350+ events both in the UK and across Europe.

It was certainly a case of everyone helps when the Saville team, headed up by account director Adam Pike, were called on by retailer Tesco to provide all the AV and technology support for seven events across five days in six different venues!
Central to this frantic activity was the group Company Conference for 3000 delegates, held at London’s ExCel conference centre. The main plenary featured an impressive 36 metre edgeblended screen covered by six Christie Roadie HD+35K projectors and fed digitally over fibreoptic from a Barco Encore system.

Saville collects top AV industry award |

York-based AV / IT integrator Saville Audio Visual has received a prestigious accolade, presented at the 2012 Professional AV Awards ceremony at London Hilton Park Lane on Friday 12th October.
The glittering event marked the 40th Anniversary of industry publication AV Magazine and their editorial team chose to honour Saville with the final award of the night - for the Outstanding Contribution to the AV Industry.

Lack of information and guidance on the use of LPG at events has become an increasing safety concern for some time. As a result of these concerns, the Nationwide Caterers Association has produced two guidelines which have been agreed with the HSE, Gas Safe and the UKLPG. The guidelines will also be referenced in the new ‘Purple’ guide when itis published.

Conceived and sponsored by Saville Audio Visual in partnership with De Vere Venues Whites, the first ever Conference North attracted an enthusiastic audience to Bolton’s Reebok Stadium.
Chairman Richard John introduced a team of leading events industry professionals to debate the benefits and the development of blended, or hybrid, events in some detail. The viability and effectiveness of the eStream streaming solution was clearly demonstrated on the day, with 25% of the audience watching and interacting online as remote participants.
